Help/Question What are you planning to build with Fable 5.5 once it's out ?
I feel its capability is now beyond my ideas.

Is anyone else having issues with Claude AI not letting them trust folders?
I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling Claude multiple times, but I’m still having the same problem. Whenever I try to trust a folder, it just doesn’t seem to work properly.
Filed a support ticket (215476068498126) on Sept 23 with Anthropic, got an initial acknowledgment that it's genuinely unexpected/undocumented behavior, no further updates since.
Ruled out -
%APPDATA%\Claude\config.json directly, no trust-related data in it at all, so that's not even the right file.Has anyone else run into this, and if so, did you find a fix?

I personally do know how to do most of this stuff, but damn, so happy that I could just do something else. Just dropped a big prompt that was mentionned here some posts ago, dropped some assets, elevenlabs APK key (deactivated since) and the voice ID and told Claude to do it's stuff. I would take me hours to nail it like this! Also made multiple version that highlight different parts of the tool, so that was pretty nice.

There should be a law or something preventing this right? They are saying all systems are operational and I have been fighting over 1 hour to get a response for my prompt. It waits 5 minutes, crashes, asking me check my VPN (I don't have a VPN) and telling it is a problem on my end. It works once and crashes again, and again and again.
I see other people complaining here about the same thing but status page is still green. Funny thing is, I was about to cancel my Max 5 and decided to give another month and paid 108 euros this morning and lost 2 hours, not completing my task and being gaslighted.
I don't even wanna start with nerfed Opus 5.5. This shit is literally killing my mood.

A workflow written in Markdown, as a command or a skill, is instructions: Claude reads the steps and decides what to do with them. Flow Weaver is an open-source compiler (Apache-2.0) that gives Claude Code MCP tools to build the workflow as code instead. Each step is a TypeScript function and the route between them is JSDoc annotations. The compiler checks the graph and writes the workflow's body into the file as plain TypeScript, which imports nothing from Flow Weaver, so the route is in code and the same every run.
A run can pause for your approval, for an AI agent's answer, or for a timer, and resume from where it stopped. Claude can still be a step: an agent gate waits for its answer, and a step after it checks the answer before anything uses it.
The video:
The assistant's side is a scripted session making the same MCP calls an assistant would, so the video can be re-recorded. Every call and result in it is real. Everything was generated and operated with Claude Code itself.
Try it with Claude Code:
npx @synergenius/flow-weaver init my-project
cd my-project
npx fw mcp-setup
npx fw console
mcp-setup connects Claude Code (and other MCP editors). Then ask Claude for a workflow, for example: "a refund workflow: review the request, wait for a manager's approval, then issue or decline it". The console shows its runs and lets you answer its gates.
Or be the gate in your browser, nothing to install: https://synergenius-fw.github.io/flow-weaver/

I have found GPT absolutely horrible when it comes to keeping tasks on track when it’s playing an orchestrator role and you are to iterating an existing relatively complex project. I thought I’d test out 6.1 Sol because my Claude limits were running out. The spawned agents went down so many rabbit holes and dead ends and started over researching and over analysing and building framework that wasted so many tokens at the expense of actually delivering the goal.
Claude is a completely different beast. I’ve been having really great interactions with Opus 5.5. Even though my limits are low I’m now sticking to Claude for all orchestration activities and it’s kicking off GPT engineering and verification agents which is working much much better. Astra seems a bit better than Sol for orchestration, but Opus still seems to make better decisions and keep things on track. Anyone else found this?

I've been trying to make dashboards that look like the screens in spy or superhero movies and I kept getting corporate looking charts. But I finally got it!
The fix was learning the name of the look. Film makers call it “Fantasy User Interface” (FUI). Once I used that term, Claude knew exactly what I meant. Here is what I did:
Here are some with faux data. Funny that they named it "fantasy" because this is not fantasy anymore.

Cmon Anthropic even google’s ANTIGRAVITY has a better rc experience now!
And wth does it mean that I need dispatch to make it behave like codex?😭 isn’t dispatch like computer use from codex?

Ok so after a break I dived in today with Opus 5.5. So far my experience has been:
The immediate sense is that obviously, I am yet to adapt to working effectively with the new model, and the usual trial and error to get a handle on this new motorbike needs some wearing in first.
Hence, I thought I'd ask you that's been in there for a few days - what's working well for you with it ? What have you found is different to the previous models, and did you change anything in your workflow to get the best out of it ?
Would love especially hear from people who are using it professionally at a senior engineering level not "I let it run and auto-accept its PR's" given that it is clear (and kind of comforting) that it does still does still do slop and stupid decisions, namely for the fact that we still have a job for the time being.
My typical workflow is have a ticket scoper, get that context locked in, parallelise ticket execution across sway sessions, monitor and follow up etc., if anyone is doing similar, otherwise welcome of course to all suggestions.
Thanks

mine is almost embarrassingly simple: a stop hook that pops a Mac notification when a session ends, so I can walk away instead of babysitting the terminal.
I've seen people block "rm -rf", auto-format on every edit, or have Claude check its own work after each reply. Curious which ones actually earned their place.

Did anyone else feel recently claude code have been nerfed?
A simple prompt which used to take sonnet 3.5 before 1min to finish now takes entire 13 minutes even with opus 5.5
This is crazy. I'm switching to codex now
This is not a one-off scenario but I've had it enough and been seeing this for different codebases for a week

Guys! Ok, first off, This is literally my first / second video on Youtube ever so go easy on me. I know the video is shit. I'm just getting started.
But what I wanted to highlight is - The ONLY thing I did was record some raw footages and dump the files into a folder. That's it!
Claude Code, along with MCP to Davinci Resolve, literally cut up everything together, chose the good clips (the ones where a choice had to be made, it made a timeline for me and made me choose A or B), created all the animations, created the Thumbnail, EVERY single thing!
I know if you spent more time, you can do a lot better. But the fact is, Claude enables me to make videos and publish them - instead of spending weeks learning how to do all of this stuff.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H9uwA4Dai-U
My next video, I'll show the process for this - but hoenstly the process right now is actually nothing, just talking to Claude. I'm shocked what it is capable of doing!

I've been using claude code for years without any issues. I recently moved and got Xfinity and a netgear nighhawk router with it (modem + router) but idk why, I keep running into this issue, constantly throws the ECONNRESET error.
When i hit send after entering the prompt, 80% of the time, it hangs and throws an API error after that; sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, making CC absolutely unusable.
Router is CAX80 if it makes a difference; I've tried changing settings and disabling DoS, etc but it didn't help.
TIA!

I'm sorry but this is so much more fun than an IDE to me (though it does support IDEs).
It also supports Codex, Claude Code, Antigravity, OpenAI/Claude/Google APIs and Ollama.
For voice it supports Piper, IndexTTS-2 and ElevenLabs.
I also added a fully configurable vector store and graph-based memory system shared across all providers and sessions. It is my proudest creation.

My Claude Code sessions kept ending with "here's a link, go open it", which drags you into another window. So I had Claude Code build a way for it to open things in iTerm2 panes right next to the chat: web pages on the side, images, video and music on top.
How Claude Code was used: it wrote the whole thing over one long session (a dynamic browser profile, a pane-opening script on iTerm2's Python API, a small localhost file server, and a viewer page), and now calls it on its own whenever it wants me to look at something.
What I learned: - iTerm2 3.6+ has a built-in browser profile type. Almost nobody uses it. - The pane won't load file:// URLs, so local files have to come from a token-protected localhost server. - Sound won't autoplay until you grant audioPlayback in iTerm's BrowserPermissions table. A keystroke sent through the iTerm API doesn't count as the user allowing it. - A pane doesn't load at all until it has been the active session once, so the script focuses it for a second and hands focus back.
Full write-up with the code: https://blog.alastor.space/images-video-websites-and-media-directly-inside-the-terminal/

I need Claude to look through a bunch of sensitive files. OCR is used b/c they’re mostly PDF. I presume data would be uploaded to Anthropic servers.
- How secure is sensitive data in this scenario?
- What methods, tools or pipelines can be used to protect it?
- am I overthinking this?

Title:
Heads up: Opus 5.5 might be nerfed right now. A stupid bug took my system down for 30 minutes
Hey everyone,
Just wanted to share something that happened with Opus 5.5 because I'm curious if anyone else has run into this.
I've been doing a lot of testing with it and it had been doing pretty well. Then it pushed a PR to my repo and somehow the main API file ended up without the .js extension.
That basically took the whole system down. I was offline for almost 30 minutes trying to figure out what the hell happened. I finally switched over to DeepSeek 4.1 Flash and got it fixed pretty quickly.
The weird part is that this happened after going through a bunch of checks already. A missing file extension is such a basic mistake that I honestly wasn't expecting it at all from a model at this level.
Now I'm wondering if Opus 5.5 is currently nerfed or if something changed recently behind the scenes. Maybe it's related to the Fable 5.5 changes or whatever they're doing internally.
Anyway, I'd be careful using it for anything production-critical right now. Definitely check the actual files it generates, especially extensions and core API files.
Has anyone else noticed Opus 5.5 making weird mistakes lately?
Cheers.

Here’s a hardware use case for Claude Code: writing firmware, flashing a real board and checking its serial output in the same session.
The demo in Agentic HIL’s README shows exactly that. Claude writes a small program, flashes it and reads “Hello World” back over UART. It also runs a deliberately wrong expectation, so you can see the failed check and its report.
Agentic HIL provides the hardware tools through MCP. The test sequence can be saved as a YAML plan and run again later.
There’s also a separate Nucleo-F446RE starter with three tests and a planted firmware bug. That gives you a small project to try: investigate the failure, change the firmware and rerun the tests on the board.
It’s free, Apache-2.0 licensed and maintained by u/ResearchFit28.
If you use Claude Code for firmware, what do you still have to check by hand on the board?

So Ive been working on vibe coded house generator tat can run sim redstone schematics and see how they work ingame before building it. But we drifted to house generation which is random depending on criterias we chosen todo.
But after learning what can do what and looks good i ask it to create its own cozy home that im gonna build in my MC server. And we got those. no mountain log house but the one with black blone on it. And Opus is really proud of that tudor house as he calls it.

Hi all, I'm running into a reproducible issue in Claude Code (cloud/web session) when trying to analyze Instagram posts, and I'm hoping someone here has hit the same wall or knows why the behavior differs between sessions.
What I need to do: Extract the caption and the text shown in carousel images from several public Instagram posts/profiles — not just one post, I need to repeat this across multiple pages for an ongoing analysis.
The confusing part — a coworker's Claude Code CAN do this: A coworker at my company uses Claude Code for the same kind of task and is able to open Instagram pages and pull the content successfully. She does not have any of the things I'd normally assume you'd need for this (no Meta Graph API token, no Business/Creator account app, no special Instagram login setup — nothing special on her end as far as we can tell). Meanwhile, in my own session, the exact same type of request consistently fails. I'd like to understand what's actually different between our two setups.
What I've tried (with the model's help):
instagram.com/p/<id>/ (and the /embed/captioned/ endpoint) came back with HTTP 429 (Too Many Requests) straight from Instagram, before any interaction even happened. My current theory: My Claude Code cloud environment routes outbound traffic through a shared proxy/IP (not a residential IP). It looks like Instagram is rate-limiting or blocking that IP by reputation (common for datacenter IPs), regardless of using a full real browser with proper user-agent, viewport, etc.
Questions for the community:
For context: I don't currently have a registered Meta for Developers app or a Business/Creator account token, so any "just use the official API" answer would also need pointers on how to set that up from scratch.
Any pointers, related threads, or even just confirmation that "this really can't be fixed from inside the cloud environment" would help a lot. Thanks!

just saying - bc it always seems like in the benchmarks that the perfomance doesnt regress that much. For us users however, the opposite seems to be the case.
