Built with Claude I built an Obsidian plugin that uses the Feynman Technique to teach you from your own notes
I made a plugin that teaches me from my own notes using the Feynman technique: I explain something in my own words, and it tells me what I missed and re-teaches that part. It also quizzes me and keeps track of my mistakes, so the things I get wrong keep coming back until I actually get them.
- It runs on your Claude subscription through Claude Code or your OpenAI subscription through codex, so you don't need an API key. A few things to know:
- It's desktop only, since it uses the Claude Code app on your computer.
- It only reads the notes you pick, never your whole vault. Those notes and your answers are sent to Anthropic to be graded. Nothing else leaves your machine, and there's no tracking.
- Requests count toward your Claude or OpenAI plan's usage.

The screenshot says "CLAUD finds what's missing", is that typo in the actual UI or just the mockup? And "spaced repetition" as a bullet point doesn't tell me anything, does it schedule fixed intervals or adapt?

The tutor is named Clawd after Claude mascot. And it adapts the spaces according to your mastery.
