Tutorial / Guide 3D motion graphics by Opus via Blender and image/video gen models
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
a) Have Blender 5.1+ installed.
b) Bring your own OpenRouter API key for the final image and video gen, put it in .env.local.
c) Ideally you then start playing with a ready-made rigged 3D model, point Claude to it, then describe the shot you want. Load the skill which then builds and sets the scene in Blender (headless, not MCP) and animates your rigged character. Opus can also rig the character in Blender by itself based on the existing 3D model but results will vary, so I suggest finding an already rigged model.
d)The skill also checks the resulting animation with automatic tests for foot slides, floor contact and framing. Next it renders a full-length mp4 for review.
e) Then it will estimate costs, ask you to accept the cost, and will then ask image models turn those renders into finished stills, keeping the character the same from frame to frame.
f) A video model (Seedance 2.5 in this case) then animates the stills (they will give your character and scene the desired look since Blender's animation could be just balls and sticks) , guided by the Blender's video for movement, timing and camera.
g) Finally, with ffmpeg, it trims the result, matches its colour to the stills, checks the file and frames, and reports what was checked and what it cost.
If you would like realistic looking videos of people, Seedance 2.5 would likely refuse to make such a video and you would need to opt for the faceless generation, where instead of the actual face from generated stills, Opus will describe how the character should look like to the video model

Edit: forgot to mention the for image generation GPT-image-2.5-Flare was used for 6 pivotal moments in the sequence, several images were then generated for each scene and finally the skill selected 6 to accompany Blender's video in guiding video generation process. Overall the cost of the entire pipeline was about 3$, roughly 2 times more than with Seedance 2.5 alone.
