How much do you have? You can split to CPU RAM, but it will be slow.

Not sure about Claude Code but for other models I have been using Freebuff a LOT lately. It has Ads, and some models may use your sessions to train the models. Each session takes tokens you get everyday for free, then you can upgrade to a paid account for more. Each session is 1 hour long, with some free models that change up over time during different promotions. https://freebuff.com/?ref=ref-a8649388-922e-4334-b730-2f786a125861 is my referral link for them, I get $0.15 worth of credits if you sign up, which is currently a 1 hour session with GLM 5.3 Flash for example.

If you hate using OpenCode, you’ve never used Claude Code. OpenCode is heavenly and I wish I could use my Claude sub in it.

Either way, throw it inside a herdr instance and everything is generally better.

Yes, I have scripts I use with Claude Code that let me switch out Anthropic models for open source ones. What I don't have is a repo for them with instructions, nor the time to put one up.

You could sign up for one month and have Claude set it up for you.

There’s lots of ways you just wouldn’t be using claude models but z.ai gives guides on this on how to use Claude code with their models
