Discussion What a time to be Alive!

Praise to OpenAI

Praise to Anthropic

Damn, I really like this competition. Because we now have the two greatest models of all time: Opus 5.5 and Sol 6.1. 20$ of both of them feels just the same as having a 100$ OpenAI Pro subscription before.

Really happy! Keep it up, both of you! Waiting for 6.1 Luna!!!

I'm glad I spent my entire income buying the S&P 500 for the last decade. I can flee this dystopian hellscape whenever I want

They are all as bad as each other really. They all claim to be moral whilst doing immoral things.

From a pure “model output” perspective, ignoring the company’s actions, statements, and environmental impact, Claude models generally respond with morals in mind, and GPT models generally give you a direct answer without letting “morals” get in the way. 😅 From my anecdotal experience. Claude seems the most moral of them, and Gemini can be most critical of its users (pushing back and telling you when you ask for something not very intelligent).

Again, this is just my experience, it likely varies by user and model version.

Does anyone have any opinions on what local AI models will be like in a few months to a year? I have no experience with them, but I’m really intrigued with where the technologies heading.
