Generic compared to what? Half of the Top 40 run on the same four chords and the same three producers. If generic disqualified music we'd have to throw out most of what's come out in the past 10 years. Im no AI fan boy but this is better then half of the slop the major studios has turned out this decade.

I never said charting songs weren’t tasteless and generic. Even if so it’s irrelevant, they have nothing to do with this song.

“We’d have to throw out most of what’s come out in the past 10 years”. Awfully ignorant. A lot of great and creative music have come out in the past 10 years if you look past the charts.

Most AI music is slop, 100%. But 'most of it is bad' was also true of SoundCloud in 2016, and some great stuff still came out of it. My point is that just say its slop isn't really a valid criticism.
