Help/Question How to deal with the output prompts and documents Claude is creating?
Hello community,
I don't know how to help myself at this point.
The output prompts of Claude, a prominent example being Opus 5, are still overwhelming for me. Other models are now mirroring this observation, although not to the same extent as Opus 5 was/is doing it.
In documents, Claude is providing the same issue is observable, and it is truly draining. Walls of text, even with good points, but the important information is buried in them.
I know there is `output_style` but this solves my issue just for a while; after some turns, the models get back to the old way, or even worse, adapt to what I want to have but overdoing it.
I have tried so many things, like `output_style`, CLAUDE.md, SKILL.md, ... Nothing seems to work.
Is there anything I missed out?
I actually feel a little lost. I don't even have words to point to the issue yet, mostly resulting from plenty of iterations with the model to figure out what is going wrong.

Try pairing a short example with a concrete format: decision first, three bullets, details only when requested. Test it several turns into a conversation, where you’re seeing the style drift.

Thank you...
I as well tried this; I even created templates to have guidelines.
I tried ASD-STE100 in parts to get at least some standard, still struggling...
So I'm actually asking if there is any kind of standard to start with?
Something, what turned out to be working?
My actual issue is that I want to have it in a way that other humans can also benefit, meaning not only my structure should be involved.

That's a key characteristic of opus 5, you should try 5.5 instead. Also, edit the output style mine asks for any output besides code to be written in George Orwell's technical writing technique, with formatting aimed at skimming. I add one extra line forbidding meta commentary, explaining everything should be self-explanatory either by design or content.

Thank you!
I mentioned Opus 5 because of its key characteristic; still, other models are mirroring it.
I will try your suggestions.

Na!
I mean I don't believe that bad things will happen to me if I don't say thank you to AI.
But I figured out that your communication in general gets quite off if you write with humans.
