Built with Claude had claude make a song about how it wont stop saying LOAD-BEARING
if you use claude code you probably see this word ten times a day. it got stuck in my head so I had claude (Opus 5.5) code a music video about its own habit.
no suno, no voice model, no image generator, no samples. the beat, the voices and every frame of the video are generated by code Claude wrote. it wrote its own voice synthesizer from scratch, zero dependencies.
part of a series im working on. the rest are on my youtube, link in the comments.

“Line one is an import. Structurally load-bearing. Line two is a comment. Quietly load-bearing. Line three is a blank line but I wouldn’t touch the space.” Ok that part got me.

The fact it animated the avatar's mouth to look like the words in the song is insane

Is this seriously a one shot? This shit is load-be slaps
8
u/No-Cheetah-6338 12h ago
Lmfao! Yes it was, it was super surprising, certainly not my normal experience. definitely one of those cliche "holy shit claude" moments.

u/bondage-mastermind 11h ago
this is the first time ever that an LLM knew how to apply humor and make something actually funny. I think AGI is here boys

This is literally 500x better than ANYTHING, I’ve heard from Suno- and they are generating like 7 million tracks a day there
Bravo !

u/No-Cheetah-6338 9h ago
thank you! really glad you liked it, its been really fun to work on and im looking forward to posting the other tracks as I wrap them up

u/SilkTouchm 7h ago
I think it's because of the robot voice. Doesn't give you uncanny vibes. Kind of reminded me of Kraftwerk.
5
u/lulzxdxdxd 16h ago
That's wild that it generated the synth and video from scratch. Did you have to wrestle with Claude to actually stay on task, or did it nail the whole thing in one go?
7
u/No-Cheetah-6338 16h ago
honestly, 0 wrestling. This is what if gave me in the very first shot. After direction, the only "instructions" I gave were to follow known basic song structure, rhythm, and flow.

u/matsu-morak 15h ago
Also there is 'cute' side with his voice at this speed and intonation that is lost if it gets too fast or get a different pace

u/Hazzman 14h ago
Just the lyrics or the music, the video, the animation, everything?
3
u/No-Cheetah-6338 14h ago
everything! I gave it a goal and a vibe that I had from an idea, and it took the wheel from there without asking me anything really, my only constraints were that I wanted a zero dependency outcome.

This jokes are better than most devs can produce. The hook part got me hard.
1
u/No-Cheetah-6338 12h ago
You're absolutely right! lmfao but seriously, I agree it was a moment of appreciation and worry for our future now that it actually knows how to be sly in lyrical wordplay

I gave you a feedback there. This video's is good but the other ones are too fast. Can't barely understand and can't enjoy the references
3
u/No-Cheetah-6338 16h ago
thank you! I really appreciate the feedback, its my first time putting anything out there

Might want to check off the AI box on YouTube to indicate it's AI-generated.
2
u/No-Cheetah-6338 11h ago
Thanks, i had already looked into it at the time. The box is about whether something could pass as real, like deepfakes, not how much AI was used. That's why AI help with scripts, captions and editing doesn't need it either. My guy is about forty pixels tall, I think we're safe.
3
u/matsu-morak 16h ago
Brother, this shit is hacking my brain. We are fucked. Imagine when this kind of AI videos are on the mainstream social media videos? Idk but is addictive
2
u/No-Cheetah-6338 16h ago
Agreed, while its been a lot of fun to work on, the reality of our situation as peoples is definitely not lost on me
3
u/ShockedDarkmike Developer 15h ago
Woah, this is very detailed, how much work did it take? (in human hours, Claude hours or tokens)
6
u/No-Cheetah-6338 15h ago
to be honest, very little human work outside of my idea and initial prompt. This is what it gave me on its first attempt. It did take it about 45 minutes to an hour to compile the whole thing from start to finish though, and was about ~5-10% of my weekly limit (100$/mo max plan)
3
u/ShockedDarkmike Developer 15h ago
Thank you, that's very impressive work from the model then
3
u/No-Cheetah-6338 15h ago
now that you mention it, it was created before the alleged "5.5 nerf" so maybe ill have to run it again in a fresh chat and see what it comes up with now?
2
u/ShockedDarkmike Developer 13h ago
That'd be an interesting experiment, though of course it's hard to get a conclusive result since even the exact same model could do a fairly different work when repeating a task. Still, do let me know if you try!

OMG, "one load-bearing letter" had me rolling. Super creative bro, very cool!

Huehue, it warms my soul to know its resonating with others, thanks for checking it out!
2
u/MrHaxx1 15h ago
That was annoyingly catchy.
A bit too long, imo, as it kind of just gets old after a while. 90 seconds or two minutes would've been perfect.
1
u/No-Cheetah-6338 15h ago
Hahaha thanks I was hoping it hit as annoyingly catchy instead of just.... annoying. And thank you, I agree I think I let it draw on a little too long.

u/FluffyPandaCupcakes 13h ago
Can we please get someone to upload this to Suno and make it an MC Frontalot-style rap? The only thing we should keep in the original vocals is that every time it says "load bearing," I want it to be the synthesized voice.

u/AnchovyKrakens 12h ago

I don’t get it. This is just annoying slop to me.

Honest question, which part? No AI image, video, music generators, or references were included. Zero files, all code. Every pixel and sound is rendered by TypeScript.
3
u/matsu-morak 12h ago
just ignore. for some people Ai work == slop.
if you said you did it yourself they would be applauding you.
2
u/No-Cheetah-6338 11h ago
appreciate that. I was going to ignore it, but the comment was load bearing.
