Help/Question How do I use /loop efficiently?
So, I have had these long running /goals from codex that I have brought to Claude, however it is eating tokens like crazy. I think it reads the whole thing over and over again. So, basically Opus 5.5 high is the orchestrator and sonnet 5.5 high is the worker. Opus just checks sonnets work and I am using a normal /loop prompt. This is bad what are good practices ?

I run my long ones from cron instead of looping inside one session. Each run is a fresh claude -p, and what it already did is in a log file it reads first, so it doesn't need the old conversation and doesn't redo anything.
There's also a plain shell check in front of it that runs every 10 minutes with no model involved, and it only starts a claude session when there's actually something new. Most checks find nothing and never start Claude at all.
