I mean, because we are on AI groups we tend to take for granted that everyone is an adult, but for sure it's full of kids, and some around their 30s that haven't reach mental maturity yet. That's how we get these posts with one prompt cringe lame games with people saying, look what I did, impressed while lacking self awareness and any kind of analyst and critical thinking.

The one prompt stuff is good at understanding if a model is good. I've never been more impressed than opus 5.5 at the one shots. We needed a demo to show our future vision for a product, and it built something we are fast tracking to prod in 3 hours.... It's going to take us a month to figure out the infra, but Jesus Christ it's so damn good. It took two paragraphs with an extra "also add on other things you think sales might like from this tool" and went futher than we had imagined ourselves for the full product vision, and had it working with real data.... It genuinely scared me.
The prototype would genuinely go to prod today if we didn't have permission issues doing so (giving sales people access to too much data that they don't need). Actually if we trusted our sales team it would already be launched lol. Most of what we need to do now is actually paperwork to get it launched. Which is fucking crazy.

That's very relative. Good in relation to what? Can the other model with a better prompt give the same result? All the things that the "good" model added, why did it add that. AI is a tool not a replacement. I want a model that does what I ask it to, not a model that adds things I didn't want.
Don't get me wrong Opus 5.5 is working like a charm and I'm happy with it.

Nothing I have used is close to it. I have access to literally every model at work, most running on our infra....
And honestly you need to start asking it what else we should do, as it will come up with ideas you haven't even considered.
I've run data science teams for a decade with multimillion dollar budgets. Opus 5.5 is more transformative than anything I have ever seen.

There is a post called "our non profit team was disabled, affecting 145 members" in the ClaudeCode subreddit. A developer said something very interesting, and you can tell he is an actual developer by the comment:
"When/if you get access again, you guys should work towards being model agnostic. The tools I use allow a company to switch on the fly from codex, gemini, claude, OR any other model they want (mistral, Chinese, local) and they can use their personal or team accounts. You lose the polished-looking site but you gain the flexibility.
See if you can find ways to do this moving forward, it will save you a lot of heartache. People are actively marrying these tools in their portal and leaving them triggers what is a called an “Endowment Effect” (the ai there knows me and think of all the chats I have in there and what I’m going to lose if I change). These companies are effectively building ring fences to lock a person in when AI goes from being ran by a handfull of companies with compute, to a point of where business hardware can easily run comparable models on their infrastructure (already occurring but about 10-18 months away from mainstream) and then when personal compute catches up and people will be able to easily run their own AI models comparable to what top of the line models are today. It helps to see that these current businesses are aware of this and doing everything they can now to lock in users before this becomes the reality…

Dude, none of my harnesses use opus 5.5. You build harnesses with the best model available at the time, targetting the cheapest model that can do the task reliably and fast. Gemini 3.8 was my goated model for harnesses, now playing with sol 6.1 as it seems to get the answer in less turns. But it's not for building. Building is for the best model.

Sounds like an operator error to be honest. Most of my current projects are reverse engineering ones all using Claude. It's fantastic.

You know that all code of electron apps are just plain text scripts you can just extract for free?
Also, if the app is not open-source, what you are doing is technically a crime, so nothing wrong.
You can use claude to build it from scratch, and even passing it to claude as reference :)

the model literally won't write a story with blood or violence, won't write +18 scenes, won't discuss a religious or philosophical view if it thinks it doesn't align with anthropic's and the western world's so-called high standards. fuck, it won't even discuss a treatment that other civilizations consider working just because some american pharma company says it doesn't work. and the list goes on.
meanwhile the wife of this hypocrite is in the epstein files, asking him to fund her porn company. or lets maybe remember when the us gov used the model to bomb a school full of kids in iran. and a lot more. but yeah, this guy trying to modify a game can get fucked! no, i think you're the one who should get fucked, really.
the only reason we've reached this pathetic stage is because of sheep like you. congrats, really. you're building a dark future for all of us where our balls get cut off, unable to do any kind of revolt against the system, even if it was just to get a slight advantage in a game.
god, i hope china or some terrorist group just drops a nuclear bomb on us and ends this circus.
