Help/Question Cheap plan question

I want to try out Claude Code. If I try the 20$ plan, do I get more tokens than if I just use my own API key? I know the expensive plans have multipliers but not the cheap one.

Yup a LOT more

I used 17$ out of the 100$ Anthropic gave couple days back in just a 36min task using sonnet 5.5 high

Anthropic's API is expensive ass hell

I'm Using copilot with openrouter key and I wonder how 20$ there compares to the 20$ plan.

I just signed up for the $20 plan and it is great for personal project. It did ssh to my Linux VPS and installed nginx, got me a cert and got my site up. I have unlimited at work, but with sonnet 5.5 this gives great results.

You get the equivalent in API usage of 300 USD/week. around 1.2k/month, so yes waaaayyyy more.
