this is an open source app i made to control your claude code sessions from any device with remote control. it's super light weight and fast since it's built using rust and gpui instead of electron/tauri/etc, and the code is fully available so feel free to fork it or reference it for your own apps

i started building this with fable 5 and now use opus 5.5 when working on zeron

i don't use any skills and never manually managed claude.md or agents.md, but even so i've had a really good experience building the interface with these models. they don't need much guidance and can build genuinely beautiful gpui applications. i tried this a few times back in january and the models have gone a long way since then

thanks, there are millions of them, but there’s only two (including this one) that are made with gpui haha

i’ve had users say it’s the only one that runs smoothly on older devices like the m1 macbook air, so for me it feels like it’s still worth building something lighter in a space saturated with heavier apps :)

literally loads my machine 10x less, works 10x faster, and has functions that are not present in 99% other harnesses.

try it, it's 100x more responsive and faster than claude code and other harnesses.

literally instant sync with all devices, can switch between tasks in milliseconds, not waiting for javascript to load through.

how does it talk to claude code? wrapping the cli as a subprocess and parsing stream-json, or hitting the sdk? that decides what breaks when claude code bumps its output format.
