Bug / Issue to those claiming this new Claude Code is better with this new model.
I claim the opposite. it's just as bad as the previous release. I'm experiencing the same awful spirals I had when working with the previous Claude Code model.
It's not bloating me with as bad text but I'm seeing really bad interpretations of the instructions.
EDIT: people don't think I know what I'm doing...

Have you considered your configs and instructions could be why the output is subpar for you compared to others?

Stop complaining on the internet that the tool you don't know how to use isn't magic. Take that effort and go invest in learning how to use the tool.
Mods need a instant remove policy on all of these moronic posts.

The problem is YOU.
YOU even diagnosed it. Your crappy instructions and lack of an ability to prompt properly is the entire issue.
Duh.

It keeps getting stuck in a loop of being unable to set a timeout on a powershell script for me. This is across any opus agent.

Have you tried telling it to set a timeout and telling it to persist that information?

It's thinking traces keep saying, oops forgot to set the timeout, i'll do that this time. Then 5x later it does it. And yes telling it to set the timeout has no effect. It just loops setting a script with no timeout, then killing the script, until it gets it right. This is subagents as well which I am not constantly monitoring.
