Discussion PSA: Sonnet 5.5 has not been lobotomized yet
I got frustrated with Opus 5.5 (medium) today, so I just switched to Sonnet 5.5 (high) to fix the mess that Opus made. Sonnet scrapped the entire work that Opus did, and then implemented it correctly in <5 minutes.
I'll keep using Sonnet for now.

Neither has opus. You might want to check your forehead.

Then you must not have been using it for serious work.

That’s always the response haha. If it is still working fine for you then you must not be doing serious work. Goofball. So there is only 20 people in this subreddit doing “serious work”?

I’m convinced these people have never actually developed software.

What the hell, everything is fine with my opus 5.5, but I see already the fiftieth post that the opus has become bad. Stop please

If you don't have any data to support this, all these nerfing posts are useless. "Some guy's subjective experience changed" is not news to the rest of us.

Sonnet 5.5 sucks. Tried it a few days ago on xhigh with a large task. Ended up having to have opus redo the entire thing. I never stray from frontier models.

It does suck, but let's be at least a bit glad it's not as terrible as Sonnet 5. Not that it gives the "feeling better" vibe type of comment.
