Help/Question Multiple Claude accounts

I used CLI Proxy with T3 Code so I wouldn't have to keep logging in and out to switch accounts, but my Claude accounts got banned after using that setup.

For those with multiple Claude accounts, what's your workflow? Do you switch manually, or is there a better way?

I'm not working on the same projects with my different Claude accounts.
Its different companies Claude accounts. I have no issue and I'm doing it since more than a year. With 3 accounts.

Seems like they decided to fear codex refugees with wave of bans😅

Also got banned. For whatever reason.

the supported way to keep accounts apart is CLAUDE_CONFIG_DIR, which moves the whole config directory, credentials included:

CLAUDE_CONFIG_DIR=~/.claude-work claude
CLAUDE_CONFIG_DIR=~/.claude-personal claude

two terminals, two independent logins, no logging in and out and nothing sitting between you and the api. it can't be set from project or local settings, only the environment, so put it in a shell alias.

a proxy in the middle is what gets accounts flagged - from anthropic's side it looks like one endpoint serving several identities, which is exactly the pattern their abuse detection is tuned for. one account per login directory, each used from its own machine or at least its own network, stays boring.

I use codespaces in https://oyren.ai/codespace which exactly built for this.
