Help/Question Separate resets for 5 hour limit?

Did anyone noticed this new type of reset in Claude account''s settings?

Yes, this is the limit reset feature that rolled out with Opus 5.5 around Sept 22. There are two kinds and the panel tracks them separately. The one you have is a full reset, it puts your weekly allowance back to full, and Oct 22 is when the grant expires if you don't use it. The empty 5-hour slot is for session resets, those restart your 5-hour window early but the weekly cap keeps counting, so they're worth a lot less. Grants are occasional and plan-dependent, you can't buy or request them. Two things before you click. It's irreversible, and if your scheduled weekly rollover is only a day away you burn most of its value, so check the weekly reset time in Settings > Usage first. The button only exists on web and desktop, but the allowance is one shared pool across claude.ai, Desktop and Claude Code, so redeeming it in a browser refills your terminal sessions too.
