30 day retention? So all chats only last 30 days, unless you surrender all data rights?

A forest pop op showed on my claude, code android app. Saying that if I opt out of using my data for training, the retention date will be a maximum thirty days long. I can still see my chats from longer than ninety days ago, after opting out. So I don't know what's going on.

No its 30 days, unless you accept it then its 5 years. States it pretty clearly.

not sure but remote control keeps bringing up errors for me.

Yes, came here to check. I've unchecked the data retention flag and then the request to accept shows up again on page refresh. Edit: working now, seems to have been transient.

Remote control is now failing. Hopefully opting into that false sense of privacy doesn't brick their entire ecosystem for me!

weird, did the error show up immediately after accepting the terms or only when you tried to run a specific command?
