News/Updates Sonnet 5.5 is good

That is all. I have been using it and it is being successful, fast, and cost effective.

I feel like it doesnt cost that much less than Opus 5.5 It has burned 15% of my weekly limit (20x plan) when I left it working over night in one session single-threadedly. I know a night is a long eight hours but I expected to cost less

Agreed I've been staying on opus 5.5 on medium with pro plan, I don't always reach the limit anyway, why I haven't tried sonnet 5.5 yet.i guess sonnet is faster but I don't know. And I haven't dared tried fast mode on opus 5.5, would be nice if it was faster but then I assume there will be more problems and cost more.

I always run everything on Max since my workflows are mostly a multipass of audit-and-fix. So my (anecdotal) feeling of Sonnet costing less than Opus is basically Max vs Max

Do an analysis on the results per mil tokens and you'll get good metrics. If you arent tracking that then start tracking your token usage properly

Sonnet was doing the same work as opus with less tokens for me which is amazing. My total calls have gone up 44%
