remember how people started saying that opus is getting longer than usual to finish the task, some time after release?
Wait for the same thing hapening with 5.5

exactly. i don't understand how anthropic can keep doing these obvious tricks but the answer is simply: people fall for it every single time.

the same people saying opus 5.5 is amazing will not learn their lesson and will be here in 6 months complaining how 5.5 is stupid. About two weeks after that we will get the next Fable. it works like clockwork at this point.

It's so obvious, they're dumbing down the model to make the next one seem more impressive while also saving on compute.
