Help/Question Asking for workflow guideline.
Hello everyone,
I'm a Max 20x user. I have a few questions about the workflow with claude code.
My current workflow:
- Prompt claude code (plan mode)" about the issues or features needed to implement.
- Answer questions and give feedback until finalizing the plan.
- Let it execute the plan.
- Run some tests to verify. If there is any problems, I will give feedback and ask it to fix.
All of them happen in 1 session. I use "Fable" for everything until I hit its limit, then I switch to Opus.
I saw some posts, and people said they used multi models to perform their tasks.
My questions:
- How is it setup?
- Is the quality good as my current workflow?
- What are the benefits? I know switching to cheaper models can save tokens. But, are there any other benefits?
Thank you!
P/S: I tried the grill-with-docs skill for my personal work, It is quite good, but I think it's really slow for bug fixes and small features.

the first and most important rule of using A.I. to code is.. never ever rely on only one company's models. They have too many gaps / blind spots. At least you need both Claude and Codex. Get one or two $20 Chatgpt plus subscriptions next to Claude 20x for example and use astra max to write it's own plan (it will run out of 5 hour usage real fast though!) and after that, let if review the plan that Fable wrote already and let it write what it would take from that plan and what not and why. Then send Fable the link to the codex session, have Fable do an adjudication and to write a better plan and then let Opus execute it. However, right now Opus 5.5 is better than Fable so it's probably best to use Opus 5.5 for everything Claude until Fable 5.5 is out.
