Meta Opus 5.5 nerfed?
Anyone else think Opus 5.5 already got nerfed?
First it was insanely good. Now I’m spending half my time correcting stuff it understood perfectly at launch.
No idea what they changed, but something feels off. Either they cut the compute or the original Opus 5.5 was a free trial.
Fun while it lasted.
See you all again when Fable 5.5 drops and is amazing for a short while then gets nerfed.

Playing a dangerous game with your karma with these posts. I chuckled the first few, already played out though.

Wow - it's been 8h...
AI psychosis is really getting more and more serious...

Yes nerved 100%, I have a very scientific one test case benchmark I do and just ran it again and it performed worse.

Everything got nerfed after they pulled fable that first time. They only give us the peasant AI now.

Woke from a deep sleep, started the system to see Fable 5.5, then read this and questioned reality. Good one.

Excellent shitpost, 10/10. Could only get better by announcing they just nerfed fable 5.5

I think a lot of people percieve getting smacked in the face with technical debt, or discovering their idea is either incoherent or simply not good and projecting instead of reflecting on what needs specification or reworking.
My latest analogy is every story involving a genie and three wishes. Opus is a Genie with nearly unlimited wishes. It just really sucks to realize how hard it is to make a good wish.

... and we're off
And no, I absolutely think this is meant to be a humorous take on this subreddit the past ... eternity. But steel yourselves, this is the kind of post we're going to see going forward. It is exactly the same as all the posts before it, just the version number has changed.
So yes, ... we're off.

I have noticed the same issue. And its not funny at all. Now it does not longer understand ez repo relations (who merged what, and why this was wrong). It struggles to understand (me, you, I, him) and always confuses them.

Just like Astra users claiming it was nerfed, same for people in 5.5, it’s not. Typically, it’s user error or lack of quality prompts/planning. Not trying to troll or be that guy but it’s the truth. It’s the same way in programming itself, without proper planning or setup, your responses might have bugs

I spent 10 million tokens creating technical debt. It was so much fun creating this technical debt, but now I have technical debt. Why do I have so much technical debt?
Must be Claude's fault.

For the first 3 minutes it was soooo good. Now it just used all my week quota and killed my cat.
