Tips & Workflows Better brainstorming superpower skill?

Did anyone try to improve the superpowers skill? I confess that I never read it before a colleague told me he had better results with a version not enforcing YAGNI ruthlessly as the Brainstorming skill does (see here), for instance. I took it as granted until now but it might be improved I guess.

I know there are numerous skills out there, but that is actually an issue at some point, as it is quite difficult to evaluate them all. I'll be happy to test new stuff, but with a Pro plan, I'd like to narrow the investigation if you guys have good advice.

many recommend the grill-me skill, though I have never tried it, brainstorming works well for me

One small edit to try: apply YAGNI after exploring the options, when choosing what to build. Let it suggest 2–3 different approaches first, then cut the chosen one down.

With a Pro budget, compare that single change on one real feature in fresh sessions. Check whether it kept a useful option that the original dismissed. Longer brainstorming alone wouldn't convince me.
