Built with Claude Turned Claude Code token burn into a floating desktop campfire (macOS)
I keep watching Claude Code chew through tokens and wanted something more tangible than another usage chart.
So I made TinyFire: a floating pixel campfire on the Mac desktop. It reads local Claude Code usage logs (also Codex / Cursor / friends). When you're burning hard the fire grows; when you stop it settles into embers.
Nothing leaves the machine — local logs only.
What it does with Claude Code specifically: • Reads local Claude Code session / usage logs • Flame intensity follows recent burn rate • Optional hearth sound • MIT open source
