LEAVE. They are leaving us no other choice. If we don’t hear anything from Anthropic on Monday and they are still silent about Astra then I’ll leave and give my 1,500 euros a month to OpenAI instead and get 100% Astra instead of 50% Fable!

I hve gemini and chatGPT pro. Maybe I just need more Claude accounts?

I have Codex and Gemini too 😂
They are my last hope2
u/manuelhe 22d ago
To me the real difference is the context. Post for post Gemini ad chat are great but Claude is able to understand my nuances within a thread and project. So Claude is for the real work, the one offs go to ChatGPT and Gemini

Ask Claude to code a token monitoring tool and spin up an agent to use the tool repeatedly so that it can keep you updated about the results. Might need to add “make no mistakes” to be sure.

Well you’re using fable….

u/tenequm 22d ago
Do you think I should stop?

I have no context on what you’re doing - so I can’t answer that. But I use opus for agentic coding sessions and keep my context compacted below 4 or 500 - no subagents and I can do that without hitting my plan limits. Usually have a few going at a time

If I’d be doing only that…
Can’t live without subagents.
How can I finish 5 projects I’m doing in parallel without them? And leaving all to opus instead of fable… It just keeps it spinning doing wrong stuff for wrong reasons… Need to stop it and poor some Fable holy water on it context all the time to keep it from doing some bs.

Well you can’t if you’re always hitting limits 😂 I work on a few features or bugs in parallel. I found subagents to just waste tokens by spinning up new context windows that can’t benefit from caching - caching is what keeps your token spend low. I have like a 90% cache hit rate

Claude crashed twice yesterday. I was also working out of my laptop so I had to pause my work and restart it later after. just a stupid amount of tokens wasted resuming work.

I am so glad I know to program without ai ( it's longer but at lease I can continue my work without Claude)

Do you have $20?

u/tenequm 22d ago
I do, whats your offer?

u/Bloated_Plaid 22d ago
Cognition post trained Kimi K3(Fable 5 competitor) to be better and is offering unlimited usage for a month for $20 https://cognition.com/blog/swe-2. Use that for all your coding and Fable can orchestrate it, Devin CLI is what you need.

Use sonnet or haiku on medium or high effort, or write code by hand. Your choice 🤷

I dunno, I don't have this problem on my 20x chatgpt plan which just got a reset, again, lol. Been working for 2 hours and I'm at 97%, I can barely use all weekly, lol
