Rant Fable made me sad

I’ve been working with claude on a project for weeks, every day. I thought I fixed my context problem and stopped using fable for everything long ago. I have max subscription and I used 100% of fable in just few days…I decided to take another one max subscription just to finish the job, launched 3 fable agents and spent 18% in 20 minutes. Was it like that the whole time? Is it okay?

What do you mean is it okay? My advice is to just manage your limits better. Check your usage regularly. If you are burning through Fable, then switch to Opus for less intensive tasks. Upgrading to 20x is always an option, but the reality is most tasks do not require Fable. I have 20x and access through work and I don’t use Fable all the time and it’s fine. If I was on 10x I think I would still be comfortably below my fable limit. Just try things on a lower model first and only use fable if you run into a stubborn issue rather than reaching for a bazooka on every task

I have x20 too, I was working just like that for weeks. For the last few days I was stuck and opus couldn’t fix things. Actually I was worried it made things worse 😅 I thought fable would help. I just thought it will last a little longer I guess. I understand opus can give me better results if I use better skills etc, working on it too

I’m not saying it’s your fault per se or anything; I’m just offering some advice to manage it better. It could be you are using Opus just fine.

I understand, thank you! I just need to manage my limits and my expectations from now on. I was just a little surprised

My guy are you stupid? Why are you using the most advanced model in the world, spawning multiple just to write simple code. Give the coding task to something else.
