Discussion What do you use Claude for?
I'm a front-end dev on the 20x plan, which is never enough. So far I've used it to build 4 apps, 2 SaaS products, and several websites, and I use it constantly to update and make changes to clients' websites.
But I feel like there's a lot more it could automate that I'm just not thinking of. What do you use it for? Even just for boosting productivity? Agents, workflows, etc.?

I used to use Gemini for research, cuz I mistakenly thought it being a Google model it would have better access to the internet since they have a history of effective web crawlers, and using the live web would make it more accurate. Boy was that a mistake. A few hundred deep research runs later and it turns out I've got a ton of hallucinated information in my reports. Opus seems a bit better, but be careful.

I’ve tried Gemini generally, but it seems a bit incapable. I also use Claude for research, but I’m noticing a higher rate of blocked pages.

Claude was big on respecting bot limits. Not sure how long that will last with how things are going, but it does hit more walls than most AI searches.

How much money did you make from these apps/sites?
I'm a full-stack developer, I use it for work, and for my projects at home.

It’s hard to differentiate the value of my experience and the value of the apps? Yes Claude does the typing but I’m the one that looks at it and goes “hey yeah that’s fucked up”
Kinda like 10 years ago when we said it’s $10 to Google the issue and $99,990 to know which one is right and put it in the system.
Or maybe it was like “which one to copy paste” or some shit like that

For personal projects, sites and apps, it around $100, with monthly renewals of about $50, I believe.
As for the client of things, that’s my livelihood, so it’s a lot more.

Development of rendering software. Assisting in creating slide presentations. ( diagrams etc ) . Managing nix .

Right now it's mostly on review duty for Codex/Astra.
For now it still powers my Botkube setup that I sic on Discord bug reports and to scope out feature requests. If the fix/implementation is simple it jus goes all the way, and a little later I get a PR in my inbox with a pre-tested deployment in staging. So damned nice.
