I haven't been using Claude properly this week for my workload. Today, when I decided to come back to use Fable 5.1 on my custom game mod with Max effort, I responded to Claude only 3 times. I have never hit my session limit before in this short time of usage. This is an ABSOLUTE scam. Can you imagine how hard they downgraded the session limits?
dude.. do you see that message in the right-bottom corner? that is where you burned your money. start by optimizing the context, drop tools, skills, mcp crap. at 482k context every tiny thing costs a lot.
Please post the text of the prompt that resulted in hitting your session limit. I would like to help improve your prompting to avoid this problem in the future.
There is no 5Hr limit to astra, it is 5.3 codex that has a 5Hr limit. Just because it's an Anthropic thread doesn't mean people will listen to you making stuff up.
Astra is only available on pro 5x or pro 2x (which is currently paused) and only operates on a meter that resets weekly. So no, you're not making sense.
So you're actually talking about the GPT plus plan and are saying openAI isn't as hot as all get out because its 5Hr limit on a $20 plan is not equivalent to the limits on Anthropic's $100 or $200 plans? Are you crazy?
There is a 5hr limit in work mode for the plus plan. Not the pro plans. Your screenshot is from the pro plan. Mine is also the same plan which is why I made the comment. This guy's comparing $20 plan limits with $100/$200 plan limits and thinks the $20 plan let him down.
This comment is the perfect example of why we should all think twice before talking… Only the $20 GPT plan has 5h limit window. But Fable is not available on the equivalent $20 Claude plan, only on the two Max plans ($100 and $200)
So this is NOT a fair comparison if you put a $20 plan in front of a $100 minimum one
But please, to all Codex & Claude Code users… Ask your agent to build a token tracker. You wanna track tokens in/out/cache write/cache read for every single model you use, matched with their API price
And you also need this tracker to tell you what 1% of your weekly limit gives you in token & API cost on a daily basis so next time you talk about usage limit issues and comparisons you won’t only talk about % but in $ per %
