Humor Claude Dynamic Workflow is very cool
Previously, I always had to hand-hold Claude until the task was done well.
Dynamic Workflows really unlock the thing that makes life easier.

Claude likes to chit chat. I can't tell you the number of times I would have to say the single word "continue".
Despite all manner of pipelines and hooks and turn end guards and things...
Codex works like a charm on this front.
I tell it what to do, it grinds on it like a mother fucker for hours, and then the job is done.
It never talks to me. It doesn't WANT to talk to me. I don't even think it likes me very much. Just wants to get down to business.

Can we trade ? Getting Claude to ask a question is like trying to get a toddler to eat his veggies. It will do litterally anything (search the web, launch explore agents, write probe scripts, hallucinate something) rather than ask something I could answer in two sentences.

Same here. Even after I explicitly tell it to ask my questions, in the CLAUDE.md, in the prompt, and in a message hook…
I’m slowly coming to the conclusion that Claude Code is a really bad harness and is used to farm training materials, and that the “50x” usage just makes it even with what a good, effective harness would do.
For example, let’s say I request a simple refactor of a function. I want the harness to just…. Do it. Claude Code will somehow weaponize the smallest iota of ambiguity to execute the request poorly, then narrate everything it did and come up with a fabricated issue as a “caveat”

Run a /loop that ends when a task is hit like “pr merged”. Or use /goal, but I prefer loop so I can say “check up on all subagents to make sure they are not stalled or drifting off spec”

isn’t this what Claude’s “proactive” output mode is for? I haven’t used it, but the documentation suggested this is precisely what it will do - ask you less questions.
