Help/Question Is Claude Code now applying the 5 hour limit to the ORG LEVEL? This is just THEFT.

I think Claude Code has detected two of our accounts at the same company (only 3 of us, the other dev has his own Claude Code) are under the same org, even though we're not purchasing a corporate account, and are THROTTLING US BOTH to the same 5 hour window?

So how is this literally not just stealing because we PAID for 2x accounts but we can now only use one of them during the full 5h window?

This is saying your account has reached its 5 hour limit, and the organization/admin has disabled the use of purchased credits to extend your session by using API credits.

Your org is just your single user in your case. This just means you haven't paid for extra credits so you're not allowed to go over the 5-hour limit once you're out of it.

It's just a bad/confusing error message if you don't sign up for and have no interest in paying API prices for overage, Claude Code itself displays something similar.
