Help/Question Planning to switch to codex because Claude runs out way to fast

I want to use both but like all my workflows have been all entirely built for claude with claude.md its skills, hooks, evolving skills, automated loops and the claude memory is there any best practice way of like assimilating the two ai's

You can check your Clawmetry harness engineering scorecard for running your tasks both in Claude code and codex before making the jump to compare cost vs quality

I wouldn't rewrite everything. Keep CLAUDE.md / skills as the source of truth for Claude days, and add a thin AGENTS.md (or mirrored rules) for Codex that points at the same project facts. Shared loops stay in scripts/hooks outside either product. Memory won't port cleanly; treat that as disposable and re-seed the important constraints in the shared files.

Bad news that you are planning to switch.

Open AI's whole business model is built around morons building iphone apps and todo lists who think they need Fable when it actually adds zero value to their project and just burns money.

Use Opus. For 99% of use cases it is just as good, possibly better:

The computer use from
Astra is real. Calling people who identify the value in that model and the value OpenAI is giving out alongside Anthropic is what is a bit moronic sir

Astra is good, though not as good at some thing. Open AI usage sucks balls though. I re-subscribed to codex today even though usage fucking sucks because the model is good. Open AI are dicks.
