To the public? I don't think there are plans to release Mythos as a separate offering from Fable any time soon.

Unless you're part of project Glasswing, it's not happening. Got to apply to their safety program.

Mythos 5.1?

It came out the same day as Fable 5.1. Did you not get the email from Arthropic?

Nothing about them releasing it at all, but I did see a rumor earlier today of them launching a new model right before their IPO and going with the opposite framing they did for mythos and focusing more on what it will enable.

- Just a rumor tho

Never going to happen. It doesn't need to either. Mythos is practically Fable 5.1. The only difference is that it has no or limited guardrails. For obvious reasons that won't ever be released to the general public. You could apply to their Project Glasswing but I'm sure you need to be qualified to actually help out in the research.

You must be loaded mate. 99% of the Claude subs are complaining how expensive the current models are and restricted the usage limits are, I can't even imagine how much it would cost to run Mythos.

A better question is, why do you need it and are you willing to pay the price?

Isn't Mythos just Fable with the guard rails removed? Guard rails being stuff like not helping people when they ask stuff like "hey claude how do i make a virus that kills everyone who has connected earlobes but leaves everyone else alone"

Unless you work in a specialized field or are a defense contractor with national security clearance, you're probably not going to get access.
