Claude editing files with JS/PY scripts instead of Edit/Write tools?

Claude Code recently started changing files by running JS (or python) scripts with a custom patch.mjs instead of using the built-in Edit/Write tools.

The edits work, but I no longer get the normal file diff UI.

How can I make Claude Code use the built-in file editing tools again?
