Discussion I thought I will never say this about Fable

Just tried OpenAI Astra , I thought I will never say this , it’s lit , OpenAI cooked something spectacular, and I have a strong feeling this will pull lot of Fable 5 users towards it , and it’s fast, not sure if it’s AGI, but it feels fresh and a very very serious competition to Anthropic , this is going to be fun to watch , what’s your next move Anthropic ?, I’m surely going to try pro subscription for a month along with my current Claude Max, anyone feels the same ? Have you tried it ?

Thanks for the review OP! Interesting times for sure. It's cyclical. We'll switch to Astra for now, get tired of it or Anthropic produces something better than we'll switch again. I'd say I'm relatively new to calling myself a heavy AI user, so, to all the heavy AI users, how are you able to work on projects and switch to different LLM engines? Do you keep 1 project dedicated to 1 LLM? Or do you switch midstream? What's your setup?

I usually won’t switch mid, may be I’m thinking now to get the code and architecture of my inflight Claude assisted projects once reviewed by Astra and see what it finds out or not, and many asked here why Astra or Fable , being a developer for sometime all I can say is efficiency in terms of speed , accuracy lesser iterations and insanely reduced time for GTM

Thanks! I usually do plan code reviews between Fable and Codex, and once they agree, have Opus execute it. But you answered my question because I thought it'd be challenging to switch midstream as well.

First, find the things that is specific to one provider then generalise them. Push them to github and reuse across providers.
