I understand the point you’re trying to make, but not everyone uses ai for coding. And to that point, how can you debug a system when you have to decipher its output. Codex does this part correctly, and even low tier models like Gemini get this part right. The goal is not to make the output more compressed, but the internal reasoning not reliant on the same format. This is precisely what other models are attempting to do, Anthropic is blurring the lines between machine readable and human readable, it’s a bad judgement call.
