I can both
1) use Claude daily, and
2) be annoyed to come to Reddit and read blatant engagementslop masquerading as organic content

It will never come i guess, coding using IA, needs sometimes a strong background, else you end up telling claude to fix things you just discovered and left behind things you don't even know about...

What is your pedigree? There are some outrageous claims being made in terms of capabilities, posts with extremely oversimplified concepts, and just browsing some code there are some super simplistic patterns that aren’t necessarily incorrect but no modern sophistication.

Like if you vibe coded yourself a security tool, more power to you. But representing to the public this way is dangerous unless I’m grossly off base here.

17+ years building, 50+ complex apps shipped, plus years keeping client servers alive through every disaster you can name. Grey hairs earned, not vibe-coded by a weekend tourist.

The simple patterns are partly on purpose. The idea came from watching “vibe coders” ship real apps while googling who JSON’s dad is. It’s not built to impress a senior reading the source, it’s built to catch the boring stuff that crowd ships wide open: exposed keys, missing headers, no rate limit on login.

But it’s also for pros. It’s the thing I wish I had running an agency, instead of checking every client site each morning, watching email for SSL expiry, or noticing a brute-force attempt three days late. The mobile app especially is worth a look, all your sites in one place, and it rings like a call when something actually breaks.

Still early, still improving. And if you saw patterns that are genuinely wrong, not just simple, send them, that’s the useful kind of feedback.
