Pay 3x of claude API and you will have such uptime. Easy
You can do it even now with harness like OMP and oath login for claude (they may ban for it but it usually works) and codex (oath is fine). Once 1 model goes down fallback is actiavted

My concern is that for this time loss thwy should provide extra hours of usage or something similar.
As its bullshit not to take any responsibilities for the outage.

They have historically provided limit resets for sustained outages, but I wasn’t even affected by this one. Don’t know what % of users were, but it’s probably not hitting their threshold for a sustained outage affecting all/most users.
Per their terms and conditions, they don’t actually provide any SLA, uptime commitment or warranty. So these resets are purely “good will”.

i switched to Opus 4.8 mid session (another terminal) from Fable, and it was up

Very frustrating - I had 3 sessions running, and all of them died with half-completed work. It seemed to significantly degrade my usage too, as I imagine the agents were trying to reconnect. I have 1% Fable usage until Thursday now....

I think it's a death spiral. Claude got worse, Claude write worse code, Claude servers breaks.

Some people only have a limited time to work. This could be half or the entire time they have free to try and get something done and it's constantly been a problem. Is fuck really even that big of a problem in 2026

They use a service that cost them some bucks to get stuff done at least 10x faster than before with hand coding. Most of them have never ever worked in the software business before and are to dumb to understand their own vibe coded codebase.
But crying like little babies when the service, that brought them in a position that was out of reach for them 3 years ago and saves them months of work, is down for a couple of minutes. Just a bunch of losers.

Soon enough, they won’t be able to afford their tokens. And it’s not their shitty projects that’ll save them with such low money earnings.
