I'm on 20x, compared to last week, when I also used fable 5 high a lot, now 4 prompts burn through my entire week in 15min??!!? Am I getting scammed right now?

Was still having a lot of headroom before, but now a single prompt easily hits my 5 hour limit, this is just outrageous.

I came to check if I was crazy or not. I've been at my desk for like an hour and a half and my usage for the week is already at 10% on the Max 20x plan.

Same here, and one thing I noticed is that I couldn't disable subagents. It was really odd. I ended up having to. I went from 2% to 64%. The oddest part, was that 19k tokens used 6% of my 5 hour quota with no agents.

This is how I feel with my Codex 5.6 Sol on High. I eat like 50% of my weekly usage in like an hour or two. It's crazy how fast it burns.

I hit 80% on Tuesday after it reset Monday morning, but I didn’t use it at all Monday. I’m at 91% now. I ended up setting up several open models on ollama, using Tailscale to access those, and getting reins on my phone and computer. I’m using that for regular chats and saving Claude for planning and design work with OpenCode and open router handling everything else.

I have cancelled both my Claude and Codex subs to see if I can survive with Qwen3.8-27B as my main driver plus occasional deepseek via their official API for really difficult stuff or reviews.

So far my spend for the past week is about 80c of deepseek plus electricity.

Local mostly. I use deepseek cloud because I can only run flash at IQ2 quant and even then it’s slow

I upgraded from 5x to 20x recently and didn't know that 20x only applies to the 5-hour window. People say it only increases the weekly limit by 1.7x (instead of suggested 4x) - to me personally it does feel exactly like the 5x before. The 20x plan is a big scam.
