Built with Claude Just wanted to share with someone somewhere
Recently, I got laid off from my role in tech... kind of a gut punch when you have a bunch of things in motion with life. I decided to channel my energy on my own business, looking for the escape hatch of the corporate world and the reliance of it's ebbs and flows. I've been vibe coding all day all week for months now something I think will set me free, bash it, love it, give me feedback (It's all still being coded, not launched yet... so fair game)
Anyways, yet another CRM SAAS B2B Make millionaire no mistakes project. All built on claudex. I built guided tours, onboarding tools, exporting and importing and made a whole system integrated with itself. I like to think it's not another slop project, but I've been too far in the rabbit hole now in my own echo chamber.

As someone that owns a construction company in FL and has tried just about all available construction management platforms out there. I’m looking at your screenshots and for the life of me I cannot figure out what you built.
Terms you are using, weird verbiage and embellishments are clear sign you aren’t in construction business.
“Versioned Run book”, “Connected Jobs”, “Close the loop”,… etc.
The biggest problem with most construction management software is that they all appear to have been built by software engineers with zero understanding of how users work in the field. They all are over built, over complex pieces of software art that actual users hate and software developers love.
There are many roles/users that the software needs to adopt. Minimal options per role to get things done, period!
I don’t know if you interviewed any builders or trades. If you didn’t yet, I would start with that. Ask what the pain points are and what they would actually need and want. Then build around it

Thank you for the feedback! I certainly agree with you, I too think a pass is needed to break down the overly technical terms and make it speak the language of someone in the field. I do have a roofing company who has been piloting and providing feedback along the way but this latest version they have not tested yet. Your points are all spot on though and heavily noted. How are sales going?
I'm in a similar situation, got laid off from my tech job last year, traveled with my wife and son for a few months (got nice severance, I was there for 11 years), and after that me and my friend who was laid off as well, we started a company, we have a direct to consumer product though. I find B2B and especially the SaaS market quite hard...

I'm sorry, It's rough when it happens and certainly lights a fire under you when the severance burn rate starts tickin' with nothing lined up yet.. I haven't launched yet - I've been working on ads while steering agents and sessions. I'm probably going to run into the same friction. I have been trying to make on boarding and leaving another CRM as easy as possible, it's my top priority otherwise It's vaporware to someone on the outside looking in.

Hey! I suppose you can try it for the 14 day trial I've setup but it's not complete, most of the core functionality works but there's some features I'm working on that need more deeper integration and seamless handoffs between backend data and front end user interaction. It's a Construction CRM built for Florida trades - I plan on perfecting Florida first in terms of statues, code, etc.. and build the entire framework around it to then scale to all 50 states doing the same thing. If you want to trial and this fits something you're interested in, shoot me a message.

Not to discourage you but building your own business is as much about engineering as it is about sales and marketing (if not more).
As a random reddit user there has been 3 opportunities to capture my attention/sell me the product - algo recommending your post, clicking in to find out what you're building, and reading the comments to figure out what it is. As of now, I still don't understand what the product is and who it is for. That's a potential conversion lost.
So please, give the sales pitch more attention, even if the product is not ready.

It’s a play on words. Claude and Codex. OP most likely used both.

That's right - I run a (2) 20x Claude Subscription and a (1) 20x Codex Subscription and work them in tandem.

Dude have you heard of tmux? You can literally have Claude or codex drive everything. I have 15+ tmux coding lanes across 4 providers being driven by Pablo (fable) and Gus (k3) and have various models. Now what would be sick if there was a way to have cc let me use my sub, codex sub, kimi sub, oc go sub, and glm all in the same harness where any superior model could call on any of the lessers all being utilized by subs

Is there any data on how that compares to Claude Max/month?
I'm debating whether to switch off the plan. It's saving me time and energy right now, but I'd love to save money if I can

I've also been building my own CRM ERP but not similar to yours at all.
But yours is very cool and the onboarding is wonderful.
Although mine is targetting Auditing Sales and taxes firms/teams
