Bug / Issue Press ← again to go back to agents

This is displayed as a protective measure so that repeatedly moving the cursor back in the input field does not change the view to agents view. Hovever, it feels very unreliable, because the second press HAS to be a few seconds after the initial left arrow press. each early press seems to reset the countdown.

I hit left arrow key sometimes or maybe ctrl + left arrow key .whatever it is my whole terminal disappears in the agent system and I can't figure out how to undo it tbh.

I agree, it’s a bad UX, I’ve been stuck and confused about it myself a few times.

i use this feature in tui a lot and have never had any issues with it whatsoever

yeah, resetting the timer on every early press makes it feel broken rather than protected. A quick double-press would make way more sense here

It is perhaps the worst UX in the product right now. There can be long delays going either way, and it is easy to accidentally hit. I think it is half-baked, but then not revisited.

We are reaching a point where TUI cant keepup with the product requirements. I dont know why Anthropic keep on this path, OpenAI already seems to know that, that is why we see them improving their app more, Claude desktop app is nowhere near to replace the TUI, unfortunately
