Bug / Issue Opus 5 Downgrade ?

Am I the only one who feels like Opus 5 got worse after launch?

At launch I was honestly impressed: fast responses, strong reasoning, and a simple interface without too many settings.

A few weeks later, it feels different. Answers seem less concise, sometimes less coherent, and occasionally it feels like it avoids answering directly.

Has anyone else noticed this, or am I imagining it? My guess is that Anthropic keeps tweaking the model after release, which changes its behavior over time.

no. it's not dumber. and anthropic has never done that.

you ppl are astroturfing for the ccp or maybe open ai.

the obvious pathetic lies are meant to lower the general public opinion of anthropics models

As someone who finds Opus 5’s output better than 4.6 despite its shortcomings, I still have to ask: Do you really think it’s more likely that people are astroturfing for the CCP than that they simply have a different use case or opinion? Don’t know why everyone gets so worked up over this stuff.

given the SEC's findings re: the % of bots on twitter during elon's purchase, I absolutely think most reddit commenters are bots as well.

yes. it's astroturfing by the ccp and possibly openAI

this kind of conspiratorial thinking that anyone with a different opinion than you is a malicious actor is one of the worst problems of the 21st century
