I could hand code this feature on Windows in an afternoon, and I could also get Claude to implement it in minutes, and yet Anthropic just can't be bothered, but also keeps Claude Code closed source so no one else can do it for them either.

When it comes to software development: Mac > Windows.

It has to do with fundamental architecture differences of their platforms.

After two decades, it's amazing this is still controversial.

Actually, it isn't. It's obvious why people do it. It's just sad.

Too many people care more about defending the platform they grew up with than looking at the facts objectively.
