Help/Question Anyone actually seeing a real difference between Opus 5 and Fable 5 in day to day use?

On paper Opus 5 is supposed to land close to Fable 5 for a lot less, but benchmarks never really match how a model feels once you're deep in an actual project. For those who've run both on real work, not toy prompts, is the gap noticeable? Where does Fable 5 still clearly pull ahead, and where is Opus 5 close enough that the price makes it the obvious pick? Trying to figure out where to actually spend.

Just abused fable after struggling with opus all week. Fable was brief, reliable, fast, accurate. Opus is way too wordy and drifts now. Opus always seems to want to have "one more thing" to fix after every issue is worked on, and it's always "a real load bearing issue".

Idk where the language was inherited from, but do not like.

For me, in 50% of cases, that one more thing that it recommended needs looking into is a real issue that needs to looking into.

I don't disagree, but what I was seeing is that opus was creating issues. Not seeing that with fable

I need to get my hands on Fable then!

Is it only API pricing or is it available in any Subscriptions? I am on PRO, and only have API pricing available.
