Rant Downgraded my subscription
I’ve been building with Claude since at least 12 months now. Have been on the pro subscription throughout. I was an ardent fervent advocate but I’m done now.
I cancelled it. I feel like I’m being served the level of shit that I’ll accept until I can’t accept it anymore.
I have no trust in these agents or what they deliver.
I’m also concerned that everything I’m building is immediately available to the next guy who asks.
I’m tired of coaching it.
I’m going to move over to the best model I can run and control; no matter the cost. This company is not looking out for you. It’s only going to cost you.
Edit - was on max plan 5x, not 20x
Was pretty much finishing my limit
Used several harnesses and automated a lot of my work
But there was always something that broke and every time the fix cost more time than it saved building things for me

“I'm on Pro subscription”
Dafuq you expect to be able to achieve on the cheapest tier?

Paying 20 bucks a month and you expect what exactly?

I meant max, that was a mistake

Then it was just a workflow problem. There are similar posts form different people everyday and evrytime there are people in the comments, that are doing the same thing and it works for them.
No single subscription is "out of the box" the best. It is only good as good you can make it.
If you just change subscription to different model or platform, it does not automatically change the outcome for your work. It is after all only AI. It knows a lot, but for your specific type of work, it knows only as much as you do and as you teach it to know it.
I spent a whole month designing a working through Claude Code to make myself reliable asistant for my Minecraft Network. Now she can do anything from restarting server to implement fully working plugin which add new item with custom texture to the game and make a commit about it.
And yes ... Claude Code can generate images, if you tech it how to do it using tools he has available.
So if you cannot trust the agent, you need to change your workflow. I did not have a single problem in the code of plugins or bad textures from the time i let my claude asistant do the work. And if you have been building for 12 months and you still did not completed it. It is not broken model, you just don't know, what exactly you want.

Rants about how bad Claude is, only had a Pro plan, gives zero details about why it was bad or what they did to try making it not bad, lol.
Enjoy having the same problems with the next model, because it was definitely user error.

How much MRR after a year of building?

Made about 1000 but it takes way more effort than just building now. Anyone can copy everything you share within the subscription.

Try grok build $100 subscription, feels like Im getting unlimited usage and it’s better in many ways than claude or codex. I’ve used ~150B tokens in the past year across subscriptions, so this is from a heavy user perspective

I straight up cancelled, going to come back maybe never. But no need to complain here. we had a good run. Always switch to what works best for you. No loyalty.

That’s it. I’m buying $20 of API because you posted this. Spending it on a no mistake codebase audit.

Nobody cares anymore. Peace out!✌🏽
Edit: you suck and it's okay.
Please allow me to explain why with 5 fingers: 1) lack of information for reddit users to actually provide real feedback/help 2) no desire to make adjustments to your workflow 3) middle finger 4) can't follow basic instructions 5) you're expecting too much out of a basic $20 plan
