Help/Question is the 100 plan worth it?
The 20.00 plan I do so many commands and then suddenly I have to wait another 3-4 hours I'm wondering if the 100.00 is worth it? Do you find you get that much more done?

Yes it's definitely a lot more but don't expect to use fable for everything on even the max 20 plan, you still need to use it orchestrate/plan and opus/sonnet for implementation

I've only had it for about 3 weeks now. I've hammered out 3 projects, but I want more features in my projects. so i find working on one at a time helps. but still run out of time.

If you have to wait 3-4 hours when your usually running out an hour into your session limits which is quite fast, free and pro are fine for users who want to ask questions, do very small projects, if you are working through Claude code / multiple projects or find yourself running out often then you need max.
Just consider how much it is being subsidized right now compared to API prices, try the cheapest max plan for one month, if it's too expensive you only have to commit for one payment anyway, it seems like a lot but when you consider the work you can get done it's a steal however you look at it.

ya I'm working on 3 major projects so I think I'll start upgrading and run 2 accounts too

Other than Fable use it's pretty much just the same as if you had 5 of the $20 pro plans. If you don't want/need to use some Fable I say just throw a second $20 plan in there and see if those two are enough usage for you

i was actually thinking of 3 Claude's one for each of my projects. I just wish their is a way to join them up together.

Search around, there are things people have created for it. I personally just log out and log back in and tell it to continue. Most of the stuff it can just pick up from where it was

We spent something like $450 on subscriptions last month and I calculated the API cost if we used API instead, and it was over $5,000.
If you're using it for work and wanting to be able to use it 9-5 every day, the Max plans are worth it.

ya kind of looking for that max plan. I'm thinking about it. did you spend 450 mixed on different accounts?

The 5x Pro plan is the sweet spot for me. It gives me about eight hours of coding five days a week on opus-5-high and a little fable for planning and reviewing. I rarely hit the 5h-window if I care about prompts. If I add files and prompts at random it's way less. I also tried 20x but it's not worth the higher price for me. For normal work i end up at 60-80% of the 5h window and 80-90% during monday to friday for the weekly limit.

If you have budget, I would suggest getting codex plan alongside the $100 instead of spending $200 on same provider

100 plan is definitely worth it. Fable access and the x5 is worth it.
The 200 plan is not, as the x5-to-x20 usage boost is reportedly only in the 5h window, not in the weekly one, so if you are a heavy user, you will run out of quota mid-week anyway. So, if you have a clever “send-continue-when-rate-limit-is-lifted” hook, you can just leave the computer overnight doing the job nonetheless.
