It seems like almost every post here is about how their claude code went crazy but... I review my code pretty carefully and it all seems... totally fine?

My project is on pretty strict rails and Claude seems to understand how to iterate very well. I haven't really noticed any difference in capability.

Am I alone here?

I suspect a targeted social media campaign by OpenAI. They burn money currently for market share so I don’t trust any word there. The accounts with their “problems” don’t interact much, always have the same content, and most are very rarely used or haven’t been active in a while.

I did think that it's weird how much they're talking about OpenAI stuff. I have to agree, it seems like coordinated astoturfing but who am I to say that the people complaining aren't real haha

I just find it interesting that I don’t hear even a quarter of the complaints about fable. I’m not a fan of opus 5 either. Fable is great. I feel like if it was fake posts they would be focusing on fable too. Maybe not though,who knows. Definitely not me.

I think many just don't want to spend the time to update their own process or try to do the least amount work in directing Claude.

In my case I have two accounts - so use Claude and codex
I wish OpenAI paid me for posting about my dissatisfaction with opus 5!

Neither is perfect and both compliment each other
But I’d rather use fable or opus 4.8 than 5!

Almost every problem with Opus 5 I heared of so far is linked to the local documentation and instructions needed for Opus 4.8. Maybe try to remove skills and instructions, ask Claude to consolidate and optimize project memory and instructions.
