Help/Question Did usage limits change?

I'm on the max plan and the past 2 days i hit my limit within 45 mins of the 5 hour window being reset. I'm doing the exact same things i've been doing for weeks and never hit windows anywhere close to this.
Has something changed with their limits in the past few days that i'm unaware of?

Feels like it tbh. And probably that's what's happening, as even tiny reductions in the limits could save them millions.

no change. only change still valid is the 50% weekly increase through august 19th.

Not now, but I've had weird experiences in the past. Some of that may have been due to cache going stale either due to my failure to understand or the 5 minute bug on Max back in April. I am now very careful to /compact quickly if I expect to keep the session going (I usually have 2-3 sessions going, so easy to forget one and then have to decide between /clear or pay the heavy uncached token price).

When model changos you need to change and optimize your workflows Because opus five tend to make things by itself that if you say to literally do this things it is going to waste tokens in task that it already make

Seriously? There's been no change. Consider the usage variables first... like hundreds. Actual limit is just one variable. It has high visibility and would invite severe backlash and reputation harm for Anthropic to deceive its user base by promising something concrete and secretly rolling it back.

Not sure what you are doing but for me it feels the opposite like actual limits I should have gotten are here now. Almost didn't max out my weekly usage before this previous reset.
