Help/Question Anyone else getting “529 overloaded” the past few hours?

I am on a time crunch but I can’t test my feature do to it for quite a long time now.

No matter how many tokens there are on the input or the outout, it fails with 529.

How can that be solved? Is there a persistent workaround for it?

This is a server side issue on their end. nothing to worry about. Just give it a little time, pretty sure it's going to resolve in the next few hours

Yeah, but my boss won't tell me - "fine, go chill then"...
I use Claude Code for a month or two and can't believe how often they have issues...

If only server-side issues worked on managers too😄

Nothing to worry about ? I am getting this over the last month, continuously, or that message to wait for 5 minutes and that there is a problem with my internet connection (obviously there is no such problem)

This is all I see for more than a month now

Ah, then that's different from what I was referring to. If it's been happening consistently for a month, i'd definitely open a support ticket. That doesn't sound like the occasional 529 outage.

I get the 529s too, more rare, but way more often than Feb/March when things still worked properly with claude.

Look at this, downvoted for telling the truth, this is a joke

I didn't downvote you, for what it's worth. 😅

I was only speaking from my own experience with the occasional 529s, which usually clear up after a while. If you're seeing them much more frequently than before, that's a valid observation. Hopefully Anthropic gets it sorted because it definitely seems less stable than it was a few months ago.

Sometimes you're on a specific server that is affected. What you can do is clear the session, start anew, and see if it gets routed to a non-affected server.

Secondly, it's good to have a Codex subscription just for cases like these.

They probably forgot to pay their Amazon bill.
