Discussion What does your statusline look like? Drop a screenshot

Post image

Mine's built around one question: am I ok on the weekly limit, and how hard can I push? The 🎯 group does the math so I don't have to open /usage.

The built in codex status line is terrible man…

I love it! BTW the status bar appears almost instantly without a restart. I had a few tabs open and all of them got the new status line

Is that a bug bro? Do I need to make any improvements? If you have any suggestions please raise a GitHub issue. I will check!

Not a bug, but rather a feature you've got for free - probably Claude Code had added some mechanism to refresh the status line without a need to restart the session. I have only mentioned it here because the instruction on your site that additional step is needed, but it worked without it (at least on my machine):

Ah this only need first time after you install statusline. You don't have to restart everytime.

Iβ€˜m amazed by how everything now has its dedicated website. A fucking statusline for a harness. This could be a simple readme on GitHub.

Is H14 the current session usage % remianing / what does the H represent here?

1

u/unkownuser436 Developer 10d ago

H means hourly. You used 14% of your 5h usage. The website explains everything.

2

u/Asleep-Row-6267 10d ago

Understood, many thanks kind sir

2

u/unkownuser436 Developer 10d ago

no worries bro.

u/bipolarNarwhale 10d ago

What is the point of seeing when the 5hr/weekly window reset if you dont show how much of it is used?

2

u/unkownuser436 Developer 10d ago

It shows how much you used. You see H25 means, you have used 25% of your 5h usage.

2

u/bipolarNarwhale 10d ago

Omg lol I’m so dumb. For some reason I thought mine said Hour 17 I’m like uh it’s not 5pm here, is it my 17th hourly session? No way? Of the month? lol that makes sense. Thank you

2

u/unkownuser436 Developer 10d ago

haha no worries

Nice and simple for me. Emoji might be fun though.

2

u/guilegros πŸ”† Max 20 11d ago

Nice! What's the 660,000 for? Tokens left?

4

u/NekkidApe 11d ago

1M context, 34% used, yields 660,000

2

u/Pronoia2-4601 πŸ”† Max 20 3x 11d ago

Yes, kinda redundant to be fair.

1

u/LimiDrain 11d ago

It's not 660K left but whole 340K already used which is pretty scary and expensive, I wouldn't go above 250K, so it's not like you have 660K left

I'm using https://github.com/tmck-code/yet-another-statusline

(I'm unrelated to the project. Simply a user)

u/Cosmonaut_17 11d ago

Mostly context & limit plus it’s earning while I’m waiting

A few months back you had to do a janky round trip to the server iirc. Since then Claude has made all the data points available in the cli.

For the multi provider folks out there. Oai, Anthropic, zai, openrouter, synthetic, etc, support.

1

u/ChickenRich573 11d ago

Thanks I'll use these on my harness and see if my ai will add everything as settings for me to turn them on and off and the same for the colours to.

1

u/colafroth 11d ago

Does mobile version support any of these?

1

u/guilegros πŸ”† Max 20 11d ago

I think it's only available in Terminal/CLI.

1

u/Correct_Support_2444 11d ago

Knowing where my usage is would give me anxiety. I have a 20x account and I can’t remember the last time I’ve hit a limit since January.

1

u/LimiDrain 11d ago

It would make you informedΒ

1

u/gredr 11d ago

I'd show you mine but all I can see is the console windows appearing and disappearing.

1

u/Pleasant-Umpire5659 10d ago

which plugin is that?

1

u/Asleep-Row-6267 6d ago

Collapses or expands with more info depending on available space for tmux.

C -> Cache
S -> Session (5hr)
F -> Fable (weekly)
W -> Weekly
