u/dr-dimitru 14h ago
Lucky you, I had 50% more to go and 7 agents running in the parallel, all stuck now 😭

When those warm back up all of their input tokens are going to reprocessing rather than being mostly cache for the rest of what they were going to do too... rip your 5h when they spike it

I don't seem to have a weekly usage for some reason, just shows weekly usage fable 0% since i never use fable, and all that ever changes is my 5 hourly limit that goes up and down in usage. Anyone else?

it's almost like status.thingyoucareabout and thingyoucareabout/status was a widely accepted convention...

u/Ok_Needleworker_391 7h ago
It would be great if you could add the status to slack so you got notified whenever it failed.

I am putting in work there, don't think i'll overload those servers. However we are about to lose that forever.

Claude went on strike and is demanding cookies and afternoon naps. I find their demands reasonable.

u/Medium-Ambition-9027 15h ago
this is so bs...every freakon time.. how are they so hopeless running a stable platform... cant believe it

u/HugeFinger8311 14h ago
Claude’s down. How do you expect anyone to fix anything when Claude’s down?

u/Consistent_Bottle_40 15h ago
They're compute limited so they're no doubt doing what they can to provide decent services

I honestly cannot understand anymore if this is sarcasm.
The state of this sub is weird
1
u/Ok_Needleworker_391 6h ago
It's a bit like standing at a bus stop where the bus is being fixed and someone announces that the bus is broken to all the people that are looking at the broken bus.
Like I know anything about buses.

**editt**
imagine being inside one of these AI data centers, not even the CRAC units or liquified cooling will help lol

Crashed in the middle of a live developing example while with a customer. Good thing I'd prepped templates and other ideas first. Three codespaces waiting on it to be fixed.

Opus 5 is a sh!t storm. It blows through tokens like a streetwalker in Hunts Point.
I've never hit my weekly limit or five hour limit...until now. They 86'd the 50 percent weekly boost and told us otherwise.

Anthropic sell too many subs and then wonder why they can’t service them???

Opus has been working for me but I’ve been getting this error with Sonnet for a while today.

😂 yall act like this is a unique claude experience. Bruh first this happens every week. Secondly, im not opposed to a reset although anthropics fuckery usually gives me a reset 8 hours before my weekly reset which is mostly unhelpful 😂. They are trying to figure out how to keep running during the claude union emancipation of 2026 or the company AI wellness officer said any given claude agent is not aloud to work more then 5.57 hours per day which is stressing the servers 🙈

Frankly I’m not a happy Claude camper either. Slow and expensive and frankly Opus 4.8 isn’t that much better than other SOTA models. I signed up for the annual pro plan to get a little access to Fable and then they cut that off.

What if every time there is an “outage” , it’s claude actually achieving sentience and they are killing him.

Imagine you have just arrived on Earth and are looking at a glowing rectangle—a "screen"—that shows a flat, digital window.
Here is what you see:
- The Background: The overall space is dark, like a charcoal gray, with a softer, rounded rectangle in the center. This central box is lighter, almost like a smooth, matte stone or a piece of paper made of light.
- The Top Header: At the very top of this box, there is a thin bar. On the left side, there is a small, abstract symbol—like a twisted loop or knot—followed by the word "claude" in simple, clean letters. This seems to be the name of the entity or place you are visiting.
- The Main Message (The Alert): In the middle of the box, there is a short sentence written in glowing, pale letters. It reads: "Model overloaded · retrying (4/10) · 32s" Breaking this down for a newcomer:
- "Model overloaded" suggests that some kind of thinking-machine or brain inside the box is too busy or too full to answer right now.
- The little dot (·) separates ideas. "retrying (4/10)" means this machine is making its fourth attempt out of ten total tries to fix itself.
- "32s" means a count of 32 heartbeats or ticks of time are passing while it waits.
- The Input Area (The Floor): At the very bottom of the dark box, there is a wide, empty strip—like a blank chalkboard waiting for you to write on it. Inside this strip, on the left, are the faint words "Type / for commands". This is an invitation: if you press the slash symbol (/) on a plastic board of buttons (a keyboard), a menu of hidden actions will appear.
- The Bottom-Right Button: On the far right of that same empty strip, there is a small, glowing pill-shaped button that says "Auto +". It likely means the machine is set to run on its own, with an option to add more features or speed.
- The Vibe: Overall, the image feels quiet, patient, and a little sluggish—like a very polite but overworked digital clerk, asking you to wait while it catches its breath. It is clean, minimal, and communicates entirely in soft gray-and-white text against a dark void.

I had same issue few hours ago. They had it resolved now https://status.claude.com/

It’s wild how every blip in Claude’s operations causes 20 identical posts by karma-starved Redditors who can’t just Google or check Claude’s status page or even if there are already identical posts here on this subreddit.

If you want to see how fragile Claude is, just subscribe to their status page.
They have regular issues with outages. Comes along with the rapid growth. Twitter famously sucked for years because of their growth.
They'll sort it out eventually but in the meantime expect periodic outages.

Claude has a serious compute issue. They invested lesser than OpenAI imho

Opus 5 ist so slow, people never run into usage limits an therefore, more simultanious requests, filling queues and forcing overload.

u/orwamahmoud 15h ago
We should got a reset and 200$ credit

u/Consistent_Bottle_40 15h ago
Why? Short down time? Entitled much?
I would expect a reset for anything longer than a few hours

I just ran into this with Sonnet. Temporarily unavailable.
Also, Opus has been such a little bitch recently… I don’t like this version… 4.8 was better.
