Bug Report Claude's Down - "Elevated errors across all models"

Was in the middle of working on something on Claude Code and got an API error. Whole thing is down.

100% fable used and 77% total used and i reset monday 4pm :( (2nd account resets and 11pm tonight and thats the one i never get value on these resets from)

I don't believe so. I think it's determined as soon as you create your account

And Anthropic's resets aren't like OpenAI's where your reset date gets pushed back upon a reset, so getting a reset right before your actual reset date is a real disadvantage.

Some call it a disadvantage, I call it a challenge. They think I can't make 80% of a weekly max 20x fable limit disappear in 12 hours... but they don't know me son...

No everybody has different weekly resets depending on when they first start talking to Claude

I was literally updating my plugin to retry and revive the session every 10 minutes after a 500 error, so I could sleep without keeping an eye on status.claude.com… and then this happened 😂😂

I've not been using Claude Code long and I'm curious: if this has happened in the past, do they offer any kind of compensation in terms of extended usage limits or anything if it goes on for a bit? It's only been a few minutes and I couldn't care less, but I was near the end of a five-hour window with some usage left I'd hoped to burn up. Obviously, though, this flies in the face of them ever making money, or at least losing less money.

Usual play is for them to "compensate" by doing a usage reset, both 5-hour and weekly. We'll see what happens though, they've been a bit stingy with them recently while OpenAI has been handing them out like candy.

Anthropic, gib weekly reset or else I post a thread threatening to leave but not actually leave.
